Snyk covers code, dependencies, containers and infrastructure from a single vendor, with in-editor fix suggestions that reviewers rate highly. OSPulse only does the open-source dependency layer. If you want all four in one bill, that’s Snyk’s ground to hold.
The maths, worked through
Snyk’s Team plan lists at $25 per contributing developer per month, which is $300 a developer a year before the renewal uplift independent deal data usually reports. A “contributing developer” is anyone who touched a private repo in the last 90 days, which quietly sweeps in contractors and short-term help. Here’s what that looks like at a few team sizes, list prices, shown for illustration and in each vendor’s own currency (we haven’t converted between dollars and pounds, so read this as shape, not a direct swap):

No, and we won’t pretend it does. OSPulse only covers the open-source dependency and supply-chain layer. If you need code scanning, container scanning and infrastructure-as-code scanning from the same vendor, Snyk’s breadth is a genuine reason to stay, small team or not.
What happens to the price when we hire?
Nothing. OSPulse is one flat annual price with unlimited repositories, so a team that doubles from five developers to ten pays exactly the same.
